Notice Writing: A notice is a short piece of writing that one sees on the notice boards of schools. It is a formal style of writing and is used to draw attention to important pieces of information. Notices are put up on notice boards to announce events, celebrations, competitions, calling a meeting, holidays, exam dates, to make appeals, informing about some issue of concern, or for any other important thing.
In order to write an effective notice, you must keep in mind the following:
- Include an eye-catching caption to draw attention of the reader.
- Mention the purpose of the notice.
- Mention details of schedule such as date, time, venue, duration etc..
