  • 3. Some questions to get you started:
    a. The basic information: What? Where? Who? When? How? Why?
    b. What is the immediate context in which the protest began?
    c. Is there a larger history to the movement? Delve into it.
    d. Who are the main activists, if any? What are the demands of the people?
    e. If the movement has ended, was it successful or crushed? If it is going on, what does its future look like?
    f. What values/themes has the movement brought forth in our present discussions?
    g. What is your perspective or learning from the research?

This assignment can be used as an opportunity to know about a movement you have been curious about and to improve your own writing.
