Procedure

Switching over to Electric vehicles
People panning to buy a scooter (2-wheeler) should consider buying electric bike or scooter.

Growing indoor Herb Garden

  • Big grocery stores should create dedicated space to grow indoor herb garden.
  • Identify a few herbs, get their seeds, and plant them in planters.
  • Arrange plenty of planters on racks

Using Solar Energy for Electricity

  • Buy solar panels and set them up at places in your residential society, where it will receive direct sunlight with minimum obstruction.
  • Use the electricity generated to light common areas.

Observation

Switching over to Electric vehicles

  • Normal vehicles use petrol or diesel and release harmful gases which cause air pollution.
  • Electric cars and vehicles are cleaner and do not emit gases.
  • Electric two-wheelers are now becoming popular even in India.

Growing indoor Herb Garden
  • Big grocery stores are now producing herbs indoor so that there is no need to transport these herbs from farms that are located far away.
  • Lot of herbs that people consumer regularly (for cooking) can easily be grown indoors using garden soil. Some can be grown even with less sunlight.
  • This reduces the need for transportation, thus reducing cost and also reducing pollution

Using Solar Energy for Electricity
Solar energy technology has become more efficient over the years, and is also less expensive now. Lot of our electricity needs can be met by adopting solar energy.

Application

  1. Cars, bikes and buses should be made to run on electricity
  2. Big grocery stores like D-mart and Big Bazaar should grow indoor herb gardens
  3. All Housing societies should use solar panels to light entrance, common areas and gardens
