If you are aware of chatbots, you are probably familiar with the challenging topic of vocal interaction.

Robots and voice assistants have made great progress over the past few years, and are increasingly becoming important in our lives. Humanoid robots are specifically built to resemble the human body and may be designed for functional purposes, such as interacting with humans, as well as human tools and environments, or for experimental purposes. They have human shapes and they are deliberately kept simple and cute to avoid frightening real humans.

Question: Linguistics and robotics: What is language to us? Is it the same to all? How does it develop and how to teach the intrinsic meaning to a robot?
