India’s electrical machinery and equipment industry is growing due to the improved electricity access in semi-urban and rural India.
Several states in India today have a well-developed physical and industrial infrastructure and a well-developed power supply grid. Maharashtra has the maximum installed electricity generation capacity in India. The state is also the largest consumer of electricity in India.
Most states use Thermal Power Stations, Gas Turbine Power Station, Hydro Power Stations, and Renewable Energy to generate power. Several other states have the technology to exploit coal, water, biomass, solar and wind for power generation.
Several companies are involved in the business of designing, developing, constructing and maintaining cutting-edge systems and products for the electricity network. They manufactures a wide range of products, including transformers, power transformers, switchgears, medium-voltage switchgear, protection relays, differential relays, electricity distribution management systems.
Smart cities nowadays use of a wide range of equipment and technologies that have a number of advantages, including improved security, lowered energy consumption and increased productivity and increase in value.
